Finally, in the 1500 M, Nathan Baldwin doubled up to take 4th place in the Men's and Kacey Urman ran a nice effort to take 2nd place on the Women's side. Nice job. See Results. |
| Feb. 16, '08 - 2008 USA Cross Country Junior Nationals, Mission Bay Park, San Diego, Ca. SLDC Youth Team member Jordan Hasay repeats as USA Cross Country Jr. Nationals Women's Champion. Staying with the lead runners for the first two loops of 2000m each, Jordan began her quest to accomplish what has not be done in 39 years; the first Jr. Woman to take the USA Cross Country Jr. National Championship tiltle back to back. After the second loop, Jordan turned on the heat and gradually pulled away from her nearest competitor and the field of outstanding runners that gave chase. This qualifies Jordan to be a member of the USA Jr Women's team to compete in the 36th IAAF World Cross Country Championships to be held in Edinburgh, Scotland on March 30th. Congratulations from your fellow 'Roo Rats and Youth Team members. |
